The Ghost That Haunts My Basement

You would think that your basement is just a casual place to hang out with friends…well mine is not.

It all started with the one day me and my friends decided to have a sleepover since it was a big party at my house. We had the idea of sleeping downstairs. We played a couple video games and had a couple snacks before dozing off.

After sleeping for almost an hour we heard a big bang in the closet right next to us, we acted causal and thought it was nothing. The second time the closet opened and we felt almost a windy type of thing. I decided to get up and turn on the lights, but the power was out and we were pretty freaked out. Suddenly a video, off the shelf, went flying.

I found a flashlight but guess what…no batteries, and when I tried to light my lighter the wind kept blowing it out. Thunder storms where happening that night, you could somewhat hear something that sounded like cats meowing outside.

Me and my friends nearly felt the presence of danger, but suddenly everything went quiet. Out of the closet we saw a white figure, I rushed upstairs and saw that someone or something had knocked the power out. I lit many candles until suddenly all the power just turned on and it was all over.
