Real Ghost Tales

This story takes place sometime when me and my family still lived in our later house. We had lived there for about three years and a half. It’s a typical thing in our family, having the gift to sense, and see things typical people don’t see nor feel.

I have lots of stories about ghosts and paranormal stuff, and I’m used to it since it became a part of my life.

When we first transferred to that house (actually it was just a small room) not that big. When you open the door you would see the kitchen at the center of the room, the bathroom at it’s left and a small bed which my father made at the left side of the room near the window.

Having the ability to feel spirits and seeing them, I was introduced that there are other tenants in there. One day, if I’m not mistaken early June 2006, Saturday morning, I wasn’t able to come to the office because I woke up so late. Around 10:00 am, I heard our screen door open and the thought that it was my mother didn’t bother me. It went straight to our kitchen sink and open the faucet as if something was being rinsed.

And so thinking that it was my Ma, I asked her where she came from and what will be the meal for the day. I did’t get an answer. I felt so sleepy at the time I didn’t bother to ask again.

A moment later, maybe 10 seconds after that thing, the phone rang, and it was my mom on the other end. She was hurrying me to come to her in the market because she will buy stuff and she needs help carrying them. The feeling of coldness ran to my skin, I told her that she was inside the house preparing for something to cook. She got shocked and told me that she was at the market two hours after she left the house by 8:00 am.

I felt so terrified but I managed to change in a rush and go out of the house as fast I can. And when I told my mom the whole thing, she said that it was natural in our house because she too always experience unusual things when she is home alone (because me, my father and younger sister spent the whole day out of the house for work and school).

After that thing, I always tell my mom to inform me up if she will be out of the house. It still makes me feel creepy every time I remember that incident.
