A True Case Of Possession

This occurred in Jacksonville Florida. One night my grandmother, who was around ten, invited her niece, who was around 13, to come over. The niece said, yeah sure.

When she came over they played board games and such. Later they fell asleep. My grandma woke up in the middle of the night. Something in her head told her not to move so she didn’t. She just looked around. As she was looking around the room she saw a glowing pair of eyes. She then realized that her niece was not beside her. As she realized that, the glowing pair of eyes jumped her. It was her niece Pat! Realizing this she tried to get her off of but she wouldn’t budge bit.

My grandma screamed while getting beat up by her possessed niece while the niece was saying nothing. That made her scream even more until my great grandma came in. She was a religious woman and so she brought a cross and a bible and said, in the name of Jesus I demand you to leave, and kept saying it until the demon within her was cast out. My grandmas niece fell and was asleep.

The years passed and she died at 20 years of age. More years passed and my grandma had a son (my dad). When he became to be five years old he started seeing my grandmas niece Pat even though she had been dead for three years. One night it was time for my dad to go to bed but he wouldn’t. He said no because that was where his cousin Pat was. Grandma was scared and told him to just sleep in her bed.

Later that night she woke up and saw her son over by he closet. She asked, what are you doing? and he said, I’m talking to cousin Pat, and began to talk. My grandma was scared to death and got him and left her house.

They went to her older sisters house (the mother of Pat) and told her the story. My great aunt started to cry, not believing the story at all, so my grandma took her to the house and said go to sleep and you will wake up to Theo (her son) talking to her, don’t say anything. So she did as she was told. A few hours went by and she woke up. She was cold and could see her breath and Theo talking to someone. She turned, watching him and she heard another voice say, tell my mom I love her, and Theo said, ok. She cried and said I love you too baby. This story is really true.
